We live in the Waco location and they are the worst apartments we've ever lived in. The office moved us into an apartment that has been infested with roaches since the day we moved in, they've sprayed for them NUMEROUS times but there's still a roach problem and we've been here since 6-10-2016. I've been locked out of my own apartment twice because the door lock was faulty, the first time I got locked out my boyfriend was in Mart working, and I was out walking our dog so I called the emergency pager number && it took over an hour for the maintenance man to even call me back, and when he did he didn't want to let me into my own apartment because "he wasn't familiar with me, and they normally don't do lock out calls" but after waiting for over two hours, hot and 4 months pregnant, he finally came to let me back in, he smelled like alcohol VERY badly and the whole time he kept asking me for my ID, like I'm going to take my wallet with me when I go walk my dog around the complex. When he finally got the door open he said he'd be there the next day with new door fixtures, here we are still today with the same door. Since the first day we moved in the parking was AWFUL, we'd have to park on the other side of the complex if we came home past 8pm because the office didn't stay true to their rule "only residents with DTI parking stickers can park in the yellow lines, but their guests have to park in the white lines." During the first week we were here, I was alone in the apartment watching tv and the manager Stormie knocks on our door accusing us of smoking marijuana in the apartment, I'm pregnant and at the time my boyfriend was a JCO so neither one of us had any business smoking weed even if we were. I've heard from someone in my family that someone from the office was discussing the "weed issue" with them at a baseball game which really had me heated. Like first of all we don't smoke but someone from our apartment complex's office is sitting there discussing these falsifications with someone in my family whom I hadn't seen in months?? That seemed so unprofessional and just completely rude. Then this last Saturday night 10-15-2016 my boyfriend got home from work and he got in the shower only for the hot water to run out. The next day he woke up and tried to take a shower but there was still no hot water, I went ahead and called the emergency maintenance number and the maintenance man on call told me the gas had been cut off Friday for the whole apartment complex because the lines needed to be inspected and the soonest he could get someone out their to inspect was Monday 10-17-2016, Monday I called the office to see what was going on and they said that the gas wasn't turned off Saturday night but it was turned off at 2:00am on Sunday (my hot water and clothes not being able to be dried beg to differ) they ended up saying they'd give us a call as soon as the gas was cleared for inspection and turned back on but we never got a call and our gas was never turned on, here it is Tuesday 3:11pm and our gas is still not on, I called City of Waco and the representative let me know they had been cleared for inspection Monday so it should've been turned back on by now, so I call the office and they kept saying that Atmos still has to come and run a test before they can turn the gas back on, before my boyfriend had to leave for work earlier we walked up to the office to drop off a second written request for the roaches that have yet to be gone, while we were in there the maintenance man said the gas was turned back on. So we go back to the apartment and the stove still won't light, and our water won't get hot. Considering our over all experience I do NOT recommend that anyone waste their time or money investing it into this place. I'm pretty sure a cardboard box would have less roaches and problems than these apartments do. I'm now 8 1/2 months pregnant and this apartment has caused me and my boyfriend nothing but stress since the day we moved in.
