  Though many people have complaints, MedMark is honestly a great place to go if you are struggling with opioid addiction. I dealt with almost 14 years of addiction to pain medicine and since I started my treatment program here, I've been able to get myself and my life back on track. Something I thought would be impossible for many years. Of course there are pros and cons, as with anything else. It can get pretty crowded and the wait times can be a bit longer than one wants to deal with, but the staff does work hard to make things move along as quickly as possible. If you are truly wanting help to deal with your addiction and you are dedicated to working a program, MedMark is a great place to be. The director is amazing and truly cares about each patient, most of the counselors are as well. That being said, addicts that don't actually have the desire to be in recovery do work their way into the program and abuse the hell out of it which tends to cause a lot of drama and chatter about things that someone working hard to stay in recovery wouldn't want to hear or be around. They do discharge problematic patients from the program but addicts are crafty and find ways to slip through the cracks so being cautious of who you associate with is important. Most of the complaints about MedMark come from those that don't want to or care to work a program and they don't get their way, their own actions usually are the cause of whatever they may complain about in the first place. (I wrote and retract a negative review regarding issues that I wanted to blame others for instead of taking responsibility for my actions) Treatment plans are made with your counselor when you start and not following them results in consequences, just like any other treatment center.
  TL;DR- if you are ready to live a sober life and willing to put in the effort necessary, MedMark can absolutely change your life in amazing ways!!
